When you look at this emblem:

Kinja'd!!!

Do you think it's:

-The Mark of Excellence

-The Mark of Crap -Cluelessness -Pure Genius -Something that helps a brand's identity -Something that hurts a brand's identity -A waste of money

Link doesn't work.

I like them, it was never a mark of excellence, but it did identify the car as a GM branded vehicle. Plus it looked nice on the car.

So, there is British Leyland bad; and then there is GM bad.

Fixed the link. Internally at GM, that emblem is in fact called the "Mark of Excellence" apparently. Was curious if others in the public shared GM's world view.

Oh, I know. It's something I think should make a come back now, since they're actually building good cars worthy of a "Mark of Excellence" now.

A bigger picture might help the post formatting.

I always hate when manufacturers overload a car with emblems and tags. Looks tacky.

- About the size of the average panel gap on the car.

I think of times when they used to make good cars that the average American wanted and could buy.

GM is arrogant bastard of a company and it doesn't deserve to call any of its excellent anymore.

Kinda of like when this adorned most GM cars on the door sill.
